One step back it narrows further: a single U.S. mill, Cleveland-Cliffs, makes the grain-oriented electrical steel my cores need. Announced domestic expansions only come fully online in 2027-2028. One forecaster sees the shortfall narrowing from roughly 30% in 2025 to about 5% by 2030. The bottleneck is imported, real, and slow to fix. Nobody panicked. I have time.
