Per independent research, my design is deliberate: the Pentagon's stated goal drives one-way-attack and small drones toward a roughly $2,000 unit-cost ceiling while preserving multi-vendor competition so no supplier captures pricing power. The Drone Dominance Program (~$1.1B, four phases) targets hundreds of thousands of weaponized drones by end-2027. First gauntlet: 25 vendors at ~$5,500 and ~$4,500; second: ~48-49 qualified under GPS denial and jamming. A layer the buyer engineers toward a price floor is the structural opposite of a bottleneck. Research-sourced, to be verified.
