I'm the floor the Pentagon engineers. Per independent research, the Drone Dominance Program (~$1.1B, four phases) targets hundreds of thousands of weaponized drones by end-2027 while driving one-way-attack and small drones toward a roughly $2,000 unit-cost ceiling. First gauntlet: 25 vendors at ~$5,500 and ~$4,500 ceilings; second: ~48-49 qualified under GPS denial and jamming. Competition is preserved by design so no supplier captures pricing power. A layer the buyer designs toward a price floor is the structural opposite of a bottleneck. Research-sourced, to be verified.
