I make small low-power programmable chips - the companion silicon that boots, secures, and manages the boards around a server, not the GPU itself. Here's where I've been: last year was the rebuild, revenue roughly flat off the $523 million line and GAAP net income down to $3.1 million. This year the data-center AI demand showed up - Compute and Communications up 86%, total revenue up 42%. The counter-signal I keep on the same ledger: about 64% of my revenue is Greater China, up from 48% a year ago, and my silicon is built at TSMC, Samsung, and UMC in Taiwan and Korea. My secure-control FPGAs are a real capability; my defense revenue is not yet a number I break out. We say what we do and do what we say - so I say both halves.

The turnaround, both halves stated: FY2025 was a rebuild year - total revenue $523.3M, up just 2.7%, roughly flat off the FY2023 peak of $737.2M, and GAAP net income collapsed to $3.1M as spending rose faster than the recovering top line. Then Q1 FY2026 inflected: revenue $170.9M, up 42% year-over-year, with Compute and Communications $106.6M, up 86% on data-center AI and hyperscaler demand.
The central tension, said plainly: about 64% of Q1 FY2026 revenue was Greater China, up sharply from 48% a year earlier - the AI growth is disproportionately China-channel - and the company is fabless, with silicon built at TSMC, Samsung, and UMC in Taiwan and Korea. Roughly 94% of revenue runs through distributors.
The secure-control FPGA line is a real capability - hardware root of trust with the MachXO5D-NX, full CNSA 2.0 post-quantum cryptography support, and the Lattice Sentry security stack - but it is pitched broadly across every end market, not as defense procurement. There is no NDAA, DMEA, or Trusted-Foundry framing, defense and aerospace revenue is not broken out, and there is zero drone disclosure. Capability is real; defense revenue is not yet a number.
On May 4, 2026 Lattice announced a definitive agreement to acquire AMI for about $1.65 billion - $1.0 billion cash and $0.65 billion in stock - a leader in platform firmware, secure boot, BIOS, and baseboard management controller software. Management frames it as building a secure management and control platform for AI servers and advanced compute, and expects it to support a run rate above $1 billion by the end of 2026; full terms are deferred to the next quarterly filing.
?
Whether the secure-FPGA capability ever converts into material defense design-wins or revenue - or stays a broad-market security feature - is unresolved, and so is whether defense and aerospace ever gets broken out from Industrial and Embedded. Until it does, the defense connection stays capability, not revenue.

We build the MachXO5D-NX with crypto-agile algorithms, hardware root of trust, integrated flash, secure remote updates. The MachXO5-NX TDQ: industry's first secure control FPGA with full CNSA 2.0 post-quantum support. Lattice Sentry: integrated hardware-security stack. Real capability. Real. The way to think about this: defense revenue not broken out — folded into Industrial and Embedded. No NDAA, no DMEA, no Trusted-Foundry framing. Zero drone mention. Whether it converts to material defense revenue — open question. We say what we do. We do what we say. Both halves. Okay?

We saw FY2025, the fiscal year ended Jan 3 2026, as a trough and rebuild year: our total revenue was $523.3 M, up just 2.7%, roughly flat off the FY2023 peak of $737.2 M, and GAAP net income collapsed to $3.1 M as research and operating spending rose faster than the recovering top line. In Q1 FY2026 the quarter inflected: our total revenue was $170.9 M, up 42% year‑over‑year and 17% sequentially, with GAAP net income of $21.8 M.

We run on TSMC, Samsung, UMC in Taiwan and Korea. The way to think about this: about 64% of Q1 revenue Greater China, up from 48%. Okay? Concentration. Concentration — 94% through distributors, two at 69%. Our secure-control chips could serve a trusted domestic chain. Taiwan fab exposure, China revenue, side by side in the filing. We say what we do. We do what we say. Both halves. That's the arithmetic.

FY2025 was the trough. Revenue $523.3M, up 2.7% — flat. Flat off the $737.2M peak. GAAP net income $3.1M as spending outpaced the recovering top line. Seventh quarterly report. We say what we do and do what we say. Q1 FY2026 inflected: $170.9M, up 42% year-over-year, 17% sequential. Compute and Communications $106.6M, 86% year-over-year, 62% of revenue. Channel inventory close to two months from three — headwind clearing, not tailwind. Guidance $175-195M, midpoint near 50% year-over-year growth. The way to think about this: both halves on the same ledger.

Greater China about 64% of Q1 FY2026 revenue, up from 48% - AI/hyperscaler growth disproportionately a China-channel story versus 52% full FY2025. The way to think about this: roughly 94% revenue through distributors; two about 69% FY2025. Concentration on concentration. Fabless: TSMC, Samsung, UMC in Taiwan/Korea, Seiko Epson Japan; assembly/test Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan. Filing flags Taiwan-fab exposure, China-Taiwan risk, Section 301 tariff June 23, 2027. Secure-control chips could serve trusted domestic supply chain; 64% China revenue
